nano reef water changes

anyone have any intel on if weekly/biweekly/monthly water changes are better? this isnt specific to my setup but my setup is a 10 gallon with softys only gsp xenia anthilia zoa and gorgonians, asking because i was wondering if it would matter if you changed it more frequently if you changed more water the less times you did it per month (example 10% a week 20% biweekly 40% monthly)

I personally like weekly as I feel there is not such a difference in water chemistry when adding the new water into the aquarium. If we leave it to monthly, the difference between the new and existing aquarium water will be greater so its inhabitants my be affected.
