I have a 37 gal qt tank for fish. It has light layer of sand, plastic container of rubble, pvc towers, and fake plants. and an aquaclear 110 hob filter and a powerhead. My success rate of survival is less than 50%. I have been told that getting anthias and even wrasses to make it is difficult as they are sensitive. I order from Live Aquaria so at least most fish die within the first 2 weeks. Last batch, 2 of 8 survived. Those that survive do great.
I'm thinking of adding a nano protein skimmer. Either hang on the inside to sit in one corner inside to help with water quality. will this help with water quality?
