Nano stocking?

Have a 30 gallon nano. Running a canister. Right now, I have a pair of saddleback clowns, a pajama cardinal, a Midas blenny and firefish. No aggression between them, all are doing well. My nitrates at abt 20 ppm. Thought that was high but someone on the forum told me it was fine. Would it be too much to add a royal gramma? Also should mention I have 27 lbs of LR, a few mushrooms, a toadstool, and a Xenia

I wouldn't recommend more yet. How old is the tank? How old are the clowns? Age brings territoriality.

Be sure to keep up on cleaning that canister or consider a new filtration option.

Clowns are not fully grown yet. Thanks, I guess I will hold off for nowon the royal gramma. Tank is abt 5 months old. I clean the canister every 2-3 weeks. Down the line I do plan switch to a sump
