OK, I have a 20-long and a sump. I have been battling GHA. I only feed 2-3 times a week and I cut off the pumps and feed a mixture of frozen and Reef Chili. I really don't think I am overfeeding, but I do lose a lot of CUC. I see little hermit corpses when I do water changes. Nitrates and phosphates are low, but I think they are locked up in the algae.
I just did a manual removal and rescape. My tank isn't big enough for a tang or sea hare. Considering an urchin.
I am also considering a mini reactor or dosing vinegar or both. I know my smaller volume means less room for error. I'm doing weekly 25% water changes and dosing Red Sea A, B, and C.
I'm not doing vodka because I would need to start out at .1 ml/day and I would rather use the vinegar.
Is one of the two options better in terms of more room for error, or should I do both?
