Nano tank upgrades needed

I have a 5 gallon nano tank and I want to add more to it here is what I have so far

Return pump - rio 1400 pushing about 400 gph

Lights- 2 channel led black box

Ato

Temp gauge

Power head

About 5 pounds of live rock

One clownfish

3 snails

2 hermit crabs

Coral- gsp, birdsnest, pink setosa, branching hammer

I was thinking of putting some type of reactor or putting a tank ontop and make it into some type of refugium to grow cheato but what should I do ?

For a tank this size, would do one of two things (the latter being the one I am experimenting with on my 5 and 8 gallon nanos).

Use an HOB breeder box as a refugium. You can get ones that hang outside the tank and support flow from the main tank through it and back into the tank.

My choice would be to simply add accenting macro algeas into the tank to help balance the nutrients. If done right, the tank looks great with corals and macros; it's all about balance!
