Hello all been a minute. Just broke down my 210 gal mixed reef and set up a 34 gal for a Nano Tank. Other than small gobies and blennies what should be the largest fish I should add. I’ve always had success with designer clowns but not sure how aggressive they would be.

Clowns are probably the biggest you can add! Maybe some cardinals, damsels and other smaller fish

Aren't designer clowns captive bred? I'm sure it would be easy to find captive bred designer clowns, IME, they are docile.

You have more options than clowns. Some people put dwarf angels in 30g tanks. Coral beauties and flames are put in them pretty regular. I think it’s way too tight in a cube for them but some have had success.
Maybe a gold assessor, a radial filefish, something like that. Depends a lot on what kind of tank it’s gunna be, even your scape can come into play. I personally like looking at tanks of that size with lots of movement. A couple clowns or a little harem of damsels.
