wondering what everyone is doing for nano tamp management?

inkbird, controller or going with nothing?

trying to decide what way I am going for this. I dont need anything to fancy but some control-ability would be fun and nice.
tank is an AIO so dont want to many wires coming out, but on the other hand sure would be nice to see tank on a wifi platform.

what model of inkbird are you folks recomend? any wifi power strips that might work, guessing not with out some controller.

I have a finnex heater. an apex not is use but will be in 2-4 months + a reef pi but not sure i want to learn how to use it :/ seams like more programming DIY then I like?

I was just looking at the inkbird do I need the 308 or the 308S?

how many of you have your nano on the apex for a bigger reef? pros and cons?

Ranco > Inkbird

for sure...

I remember the name years ago before aquarium controllers became all the rage.
why to do think it's better?

wonder when that new controller that was released at manca be available? might be worth waithing around for that and risk it. I belive they said Q1 of 2020??

It’s industrial grade and only like $20 more than a hobby grade inkbird. Any major food and beverage processing plant, public aquarium, etc. will all have a ranco. None will have inkbirds. That speaks volumes.
