Nano vs bio cubes

Has anyone ever tried to put a BioCube canopy on a nano cube? I have two being offered for free one is a t5 the other being an led. Can I retrofit it to work?

Probably.

Is the size the right fit for your tank? Or will you need to do work to it?

The bio cube led is probably 0.3 to 0.5 watt leds and very weak for a bigger or deeper tank.

You'd probably be better off with a black box led fixture. The Mars Aqua is only $100+.

The difference in tanks is only 1 gallon I’m not sure if it will fit, that was the question
