NaOH vs NaCO2 in Balling - which raises salinity more?

Hello,

I wonder if using Balling with NaOH as the only/main source of kH increases the water's salinity by the same amount as NaCO2 or NaHCO₃. I guess @Randy Holmes-Farley will be the best to answer

The salinity effect of alk by sodium hydroxide, sodium carbonate and sodium bicarbonate is identical: 1 sodium ion per unit of alk.
