PEr my other thread my Scott's is battling something, so I am treating with prazipro. Now I noticed my naokae wrasse is swimming funny. When I got him last week, he seemed kind of swimming odd, but he was eating. Now, he's kind of just tumbling around and every once in awhile straightens himself out. I wish I had a better description, but this is about it. Any ideas?

Can you post a video? It's possible he's having an adverse reaction to the Prazipro - wrasses do seem to be overly sensitive to just about all medications.

May also have swim bladder issues. IMO reduced stress, high water quality, and very importantly lots of very nutritious food (small feedings as often as possible) is about all you can do. Seriously, invest in live black worms. 35 shipped online.

Prazi will only help if your fish are being afflicted by gill flukes, black ich or some internal parasites.

Swim bladder is more of a condition than an actual disease and there are no known treatments. Only thing you can do is hope it is actually just constipation (symptoms are very similar) and try feeding a peeled boiled pea. Not saying this is swim bladder, but feeding a pea doesn't hurt anything.

Nothing working. He lays on his side or upside. The thing is, his colors are still vibrant and he tries to swim and eat. I feel helpless. I know it's a fish, but it's more then that to me. I put him in my fuge for now, so the powerheads won't tumble him all over.
