I'm in the middle of my 30 gallon build, and the room in my stand is 10.75"d x 36"l x 24"h.
I'm having a hard time finding a sump that will fit in that tight of a space. The only sump I've come across is the eShopps RS-75. Any other recommendations?

You could always make a separate stand and put a sump on that as a display sump sort of thing?

You could go custom...I had mine built by Advanced Acrylics in California. That is going to be a tough space to fill.

That's not too bad of an idea. I suppose another option might be to remove the middle rear brace and have the sump hang out the back a bit. I have to have it a few inches off the wall anyway for the overflow box....

So I stopped by my LFS on the way home from work, who had a Bashsea 301014 he was selling for “at cost”, or $295. He couldn’t figure out what type of pump would fit in the return chamber. Seemed to be about 5x5 inches. His recommendation was to drill it and run an external pump, which seemed like an odd suggestion. I have to imagine they built it for a submersible pump...
