Naso tang bent like horseshoe.

So my naso tang seems to be doing very badly.
Yesterday we noticed our 6inch naso tang hanging out near the top of our tank amd would not eat. He has no signs of cuts, sores, cloudy eyes, pinched stomach, swollen stomach, or any other apparent symptoms. The next morning we noticed that he was at the bottom but still upright to this point. We set up our QT to run GC because about 7 months ago we cured him from an internal parasite that was certainly going to kill him so we initially thought it possibly came back.
Once we put him in the QT he is shaped like a U nose down at the bottom of the tank. No labored breathing but def. Has some sort of swim bladder or gas bladder issue.
Desperate for any suggestions to try amd save him. He will not eat so peas will not work. I'm curious if I should do general cure in hopes that it is some.sort of bacterial infection effecting his swim bladder in combination with Epsom Salt baths (would need brand and dosage and time if this is the route we should go) thank you so much
He has no ability to swim so I'm running just am airstone with slight water movement at the top.

Epsom salts have no effect in saltwater as it already contains salts and sulfates
Pictures under white lighting in instances like this are always helpful with assessment but it sounds like from your description that this fish is highly distressed and moribund which is a term used when a fish may or not make it and often when I see a tang in this crisis, it does not survive to offer warning
You can add an airstone as you have for added oxygen and I’d love to hear recovery but this will likely not be the case

Can you post a picture? If a fish has a swim bladder issue, it will either float or sink strongly. If it is just resting on the bottom, the fish is probably moribund (close to death) from some other reason...what that could be, I can't say.

Epsom salts are useless in marine tanks. The person who developed the pes idea did so for fancy goldfish (he was a co-working of mine many years ago, and was an old school FW aquarist).

Thank you for the reply. Unfortunately he died about an hour later. It was weird. He went from being fine. To not eating and staying near the top of the tank, to next morning hiding, to laying like a bent leaf and not being able to swim. No signs of anything. Everything else in the tank is completely fine. Wish I knew what it could have been because last time he stayed in front of the flow and I was able to medicate and save him. Nothing new has been introduced in over 4 months. Very odd to say the least
