I recently got a Naso Tang from my LFS.
I acclimated him into my tank and he seemed fine for a day or two and then I noticed he had ich, white spots all over him.
I had Paraguard in the way and when I came home today the Paraguard came in the mail. Also when I came home he had himself hidden in the back of my tank shoved in some rocks. I set a QT tub up and put him in there and he started swimming all funny in circles like he is doing summersaults.
I dosed the QT with Paraguard and am hoping this helps clear up his ich, but now I’m scared he is going to die because he’s acting funny.

is he eating currently?

So let me be the first to say that just because a fish has ick doesn't mean its going to die. Many people(like me) do not quarentine for many reasons and sometimes ick can find its way into your tank. These people tend to manage ick by offering high quality food and keeping the fish in a stress free environment with high quality water. We need a little more info on your tank please including size, inhabitants, age, and chemistry results. This is the baseline for us to help you :)

if you diagnose ick...

Reduce salinity to 1.020 will help him breathe.

Then reduce salinity to 1.009 and keep it there until 14 days past seeing no dots on your fish.

Feed feed feed, high protein pellets

At about 21 days, 7 to rid of spots, 14 to ensure, start increasing salinity by .001 per day until you reach normal operating salinity

DT goes Without fish for 72-76 days

This tang hard to keep

Herbtana kills ick really fast bring the salinity down so he can breathe then dose herbtana and if that does not fix it then you have to use copper

My tank is pretty new, about a month and a half. There are two clown fish, and my tang is now in QT. My tang currently isn’t eating. But I have green seaweed in the tank for him if he decides he wants to eat.
he made it through the night, but is looking pretty rough. I will lower the salinity today before I go to work. I’ll also feed pellets to the tank.

Your clowns need to be treated as well. Any fish in the same tank as one known to have Ich should be put through the same regimen.

Pics? Are you sure it isn't velvet? I get velvet vibe from the hiding and swimming in circles.

First image is day one realizing he had ich, day three is in the second image.

I wonder if he does a freshwater dip it would by him time? Or is the fish too weak to take the chance?

I don't think that fish can survive in any copper... but if u do buy copper DO NOT PUT IT IN YOUR MAIN DISPLAY
