I have a baby Naso Tang that’s about three inches long and I got him at the same time as my yellow and purple tangs. The yellow and purple are growing extremely fast but the Naso hasn’t grown much. Everyone is eating well and seems fat and happy, their color looks great. The baby is extremely active, inquisitive and is a lot of fun to interact with. My husband got me a little worried tonight because he is concerned that the Naso hasn’t put on any length. Does anyone know how fast these kiddos grow? I’m thinking maybe he’s just taking his time, but I’m a paranoid fish mom... I adore this little guy or girl.

He is soon cute! I'm not sure about your naso tang, maybe you'll get lucky and it'll stay small. Not like my vlamingi green giant.

I have one around the same size. How long have you had it?
I’ve found that the growth rate from tiny 1/2”-1” to medium ~4”+ is pretty quick but slows down after that.
I’d say as long as it’s fat you should have nothing to worry about. IME - Tangs should be fed as much as they can eat. I always have a fresh sheet of nori in my tank for all my herbivores to ensure they keep a full belly.

I,myself, never buy any Tang in the Genus Naso due to their size and the huge tank they needed. I never keep them but imagine they should out grow Yellow and Purple tangs at every size level.
Good luck with them. They do look young in the picture. I think, and do, the same as @TvanB1 with regard to Tangs feeding. My Nori clips do run out in my tank until late afternoon. I suspended my Nori clips to keep snails and urchin from eating them. Just the fish get free food. I use multiple clips to keep more aggressive tangs, PBT in my case, from hogging all the Nori.

Thanks guys :-) I keep nori available and he definitely eats like a pig! Lol They get fed a frozen and pellet diet twice a day also...it’s a big biological load on my system but success with tangs is my main goal with this tank so I just deal with more frequent cleaning...a lot of cleaning! Lol. I’ve only had him about 3 months...he was a little smaller when I got him, but he’s definitely growing slower than my other tangs. My purple grew from 2 inches to about four inches in two months!
