Hi a have a naso tang and its not touching anything i feed i tried garlic seaweed red and green seaweed, flake ,brine shrimp pellets , and a multitude of different frozen food
he is picking at the live rock but he has already killed the hair algae i had and no more in sight im starting to worry cause i want him to flourish and grow any suggestions will be worth while thanks again.

My Naso is pretty picky...only eats green or purple seaweed in addition to picking at the rocks. The only other thing he will eat is live black worms. If you have a LFS that carries them, try them out...all of my fish go crazy for them. He will come around...if he's picking at the rocks, he's not overly stressed.

Just be limited on how much/many you feed at a time. They are obviously a fw worm...so they die pretty quick in sw. Once they die and fall to the bottom, the fish lose interest. I usually drop in maybe 5 worms and make sure they get gobbled up before adding more.

Do a search on here for them...member PaulB is a big supporter of blackworms as a sw diet...

I actually use Blackworms and LRS as the above have mentioned. If the tang is grazing on the rocks then rubberband some nori to the rocks and see if he picks it off that way. I had to do that for a couple weeks to get my PBT eating. I also use grape caulerpa too and the entire tank eats it.

Coralfish is this a small naso the ones that blew up all over mo 3 weeks ago if it is I did get one aswell mine will eat nori , green seaweed in the beginning had to strap a small piece to a rock. But now he eats that and loves rods food lol he beats up the clarkies to get to the veggie part of it lol

Here she is full lights on right now and crap pic but here she is

hi ryan 2428 i dont know if it is i have had mine for 3 months now i did eat reef plankton but it stopped now its eats off the rocks but i dont think its getting enough to eat so i am going to try what every one suggests and hopping for the best

Same issue. Purple seaweed rubber banded to a small piece of coral to sink it to the bottom. From experience they do not like green or red. Mine even takes frozen brine shrimp now.

its sad to say that when i got home from work he was on his way out he died today my wife dont know yet but she is going to cry she was so in luv with him and his beautiful tail but im not going to give up im just going to wait until i set up the 200 and tie it in with the 90 as one system one sump and a mega return pump thanks again for all you help and suggestions
