I'm researching naso tangs as im thinking of getting one. Ive been advised that they should be kept in pairs or groups only, not individually. Is this true?

I've also read lots of success stories but also lots of failures where the fish doesn't last longer than a year or 2.

Do you advise me to get a pair or is it common to keep them as Individuals?

Me too never heard such imfor. I have my for 4 years now. Started with a juvy with out any colors but just ugly gray. Now Its about 8" with streamers that getting longer. Super healthy and fat eat everything that go in the tank

I’ve been keeping a naso tang with a kole tang , wrasse and clown fish pair for a while with no issues . The kole tang and the Naso tang act like buddies hanging together
