naso troubles

so this am i woke up and took a look in my tank per usual. noticed my Naso Tang was sitting in the corner he hangs out and sleeps in but he was at the bottom and breathing fast. so i caught him with ease put him in QT and am doing a hypo salinity treatment. his body looks normal exept for the faded stress spots. hes been moving a little since in QT and breathing seems to be slowing, but that could be bad. but hes still laying on bottom mostly. any clues? he was eating fine last night all fish and corals are fine all params are normal nothing else seems out of the ordinary. oh and ive had this fish for like 4-6months?

Could it be velvet desease. Ain't when they get velvet they stay at the bottom of the tank and stop being active.

Far as I know when fish about to die u can see velvet. Also I think I've had the fish way to long for it to have velvet.

Nope not that I can see. And its pretty easy to see the fish in a 10g QT. I've only added 1 fish since that naso. A small tank bred clown month ago.

Barely tried moved very slow. Somethings wrong for sure as he is still laying around mostly. Thought at first he was sleeping but when lights came on and he didn't move and even when I touched him with net at first to see if he was sleeping he just sat there.

He's still kicking breathing looks normal but still not moving much. Hell move if I disturb him or every so often hell move and swim on his own but only for few seconds then its back to laying down

He's not eating since he's been acting funny. His bellys not all fat so I don't think constipation lol

Not that I'm aware of. Just fish corals and some shrimp/crabs and a clam
