Naso with Discolorations

Naso I just put through hybrid TTM successfully has some discoloration in a couple of spots. Not raised, tuft or indents. Looks like he scraped himself but is in weird spots. Almost looks like he lost some color pigmentation in the spots. Eating and breathing fine. Any ideas?

Mine was the same when introduced. They tend to pigment stress spots and soon they vanish. Assure this guy gets a good diet. Scrapes are very possible as you may have found already- they startle easily

OK, yes he gets very dark and some other spots come out when he gets scared. These are there all the time so thinking might be scrapes.
Yes, he gets fed well. My homemade recipe of salmon, clams, shrimp, oysters, clams and scallops, plus frozen mysis, nori and romaine lettuce all supplemented with selcon. My wife says he eats better than us. She’s not wrong.

Can you get a shot under white light? These look like scrape marks. This can be caused by flukes and TTM doesn't control flukes. Even treating with prazi doesn't always break their life cycle....

Will see if I can get a pic when the lights come on. As part of the TTM I also did 2 rounds of GC 7 days apart so while not a guarantee of eradication I’m pretty sure it is just scrapes.

they look a lot like marks that I had increasingly on a vlamingi the that resulted in me re-homing him to a bigger tang that had less coral and sharp rocks, and that seemed to do the trick.

Yes, I think it’s some scrapes he sustained in QT. I had some rocks and a large pvc tube that was cut and had some rough edges.not exhibiting any signs of disease and eating well, but Jay mentioned flukes so just wanted to be sure.

These just look like scrapes to me.
