I just got some Nassarius snails and I see that they are on my live rock rather than in the sand bed. I just got them yesterday, but does this mean they are eating detritus off rocks, or are they just bored? Will they eventually settle into the sand bed? Thanks.

They could be eating detritus off your rocks or just exploring. Mine stay in the sand bed until I feed my fish and then they are all over the rocks and glass.

I would maybe feed a bit of something, they might be searching for food. They are carnivores, I don't think they eat detritus
