Nassarius or Whelk?

Just got a couple of these from my LFS sold as Nassarius snails but they are darker than the Nassarius snails I've seen, are they Nassarius or something else?

All the smaller ones I have are that black color also. The one or 2 larger ones I have are are Tongan and have a more cream colored shell
