Hello.

I have had my snail for 3 weeks now. It was doing fine. The first few days it would be on the glass at night until I was able to sort out what it would eat well. Recently, it was buried in the same spot in the sand (couldn't see it's snorkel) for 3 days. I took a piece of mysis and held it over the snail. It moved up towards it. Once I shut off the light in the tank, it came out and ate it and a second piece the clownfish didn't finish. It is now just sitting on top of the sand with just a bit of it's front buried. I pushed it earlier today to see if it was alive as it was that way for 24 hours. It moved itself to bury it's head in, but the rest of it is exposed. Is this normal? It really hasn't had a strong appetite since I have had it. The trochus and clown are fine and nothing else has changed.

Thanks in advance

I wouldn't worry to much about it. And definitely don't go poking at it. Snails aren't super active and sometimes they do just die out of nowhere.
