Nasty foam through skimmer cap overflow holes

I'm having issues adjusting my skimmer. It's a reef octopus 150. I get so much foam it leaks out the overflow holes in the cap. If I turn it up a hair I get too much skimate, like a light tea color. If I turn it down so the foam doesn't over flow I get nothing. I am also running an algae scrubber that makes about 1/4 cup of algae a week. Here is a pic.

I have the 150 as well, just about to finish my new build. I'll let you know if I run in to any issues

Looks like it pulling some pretty dark stuff I wouldn't worry about the bubble overflow it just means it's pulling all the nasties out. My skimmer does the same and it's unsightly, but that's the only issue I can see.

I took my cap off my pro clear it kept popping off it doesnt make a diffrence or overflow foam on the side anymore n get about two cups of dark stinky goo ill post a pic in about an hour my turd galaxy s 2 battery is low
