The only good thing about those type of protopalys is that the peel off of the rocks quite easily...at least mine do, that's how I keep them in check. A pair of OLD tweezers (not the good ones) and if you grab a polyp by the base and pull, usually the mat will start to lift. Grab the mat and they just peel right off.
