Got apex in and kinda setup , return pumps not kicking back on after feed cycle. And my skimmer cord is to short. Also could use a cable management guru.lol

Looks like normal diatoms to me. Just part of the ugly stage of the cycle, they should go away on their own eventually. Great setup so far! Are you planning on quarantining those fish?

Thanks,it looks like they are letting up a bit , the ones that are in were QT at LFS, anything else we add will be QTed, have a 20L just gotta throw a stand together. Clean it and set it up and cycle it ,then We'll get next round of fish.

Also got a 20L set up and running on a for QT ,not the prettiest stand but it will work only temporary anyways, have to pick up a light yet but dont want to spend a boatload on one.

Thank you trying , the last batch of fish I picked up are testing my patients.

So swapped out the current lights , for 3xr 15s sitting in an aquatic life t5 hybrid , 1 t5 bulb came broke 1 was dead. Pics to come once cables get cleaned up.

So fixture is hung up , need to do some cable management but theres always tomorrow.

So this happened ,not done yet but its up and running even tho sloppy at the moment (more then likely going to go to hard plumbing). Going to end up ripping the back out of tank.
Not sure how we want to set refugium up , do like the display fuges , but either way, We have a yellow clown goby that needs to go in there. Would like to be something else in there but not sure. Suggestions?
