7 months or so ago I bought a nice inexpensive zoa rock of nondiscript zoas which I liked. I placed them on the bottom of the tank and just enjoyed them. Today I am taking stock of the tank and while looking at my patch of GSP I noticed a splash of color.
Somehow a couple of zoas migrated the width of my tank, climbed up several inches onto the GSP and have made a new home.
Now I don't know if they will get evicted but they have nerve taking root on the GSP.
This hobby never ceases to amaze.

In my experience, zoas and palys always find a way. That can be both great for propagation but also terrible in terms of invasive zoas ticking off every other coral…
