Heres some progress pics, the tank was running and cycled when i bought it...so I havent just thrown all these in a virgin tank just for carification.
Day I got it up and going
Almost a week later
Took these shortly after a small water change

Its starting to look like a reef, very surprised to already have little purple coraline spots pooping up all over the bare rocks this soon, these cubes are neat tanks, mines a mutt, older 24G tank with a newer 28G HQI hood, after some fiddling around they work pretty good together, and temps stay very manageable, around 77 peak with lights on for full run, and abit above 74 after lights have been off for a long time ( I keep my living room figid which is where the tank and I live, niether of us likes the heat) What do you guys think thus far?
Thanks to MattS for the trumpet, bright green zoas and large GSP rock that got camera shy after the water change, its normally fully open.
I posted this in the hardware, but felt i should add it here as well, got the PS for my built in moonlights, and even with the HQI on, they are noticeble and give a nice actinic vibe...however at night,
Too much for all night? I'm thinking I should get a timer for these, they are way brighter than the C USA ones I ran on my old 65 high....opionions? let em run all night?, or just a few hours?
