Greetings from wintery Nebraska. So tired of the crazy winds we have been having here.
We just had a new store open near me and for over 20 years, I have wanted a saltwater tank. Since the store is minutes from my home, I decided to take the plunge. My wife had three large blood parrot cichlids, two of which died recently after 13 years. With the last one still going strong, I thought we could start our adventure into saltwater.
I just purchased a Marineland 60 gallon rimless cube and the equipment to get it started. I have to wait a week for my base to be delivered. I got Ocean Direct's Pacific Black Reef Live Sand for my substrate. I can't wait to have everything here so I can start building everything. I am looking forward to learning as I go.
