Hi all,
I just received a new tank and I see two issues with the glass. Am I being too picky?

1. The sides of glass are bubbling , see pic 1.
2. The glass is not cut/glued perfectly straight, picn2

Thoughts? I have not filled it and have only paid a deposit. Should I send it back? Am I being too picky?

What's the worst that could happen? Maybe tank separation? That's not a big deal right?

Is the glass actually not square or level or is it just the silicon not being even. If the glass was not siliconed straight I wouldn't put water in it.

Lol Kersaw.

This is a custom build and the glass isn't cut straight.

Has anyone seen this before? Is it normal? Should I return it? Help please!

If your in doubt, send it back. Better now than at 3:00am waking up to a loud noise and finding your tank water and livestock on your floor! It should be square or the pressure on the tank will cause it to rupture or leak eventually;)

The glass doesn't look like it was milled at all, just scored and snapped. For a custom tank I would be outraged that they left the raw edge.

Manufacturer agreed to give me a whole new tank. Thank you for all your suggestions!
