Need a ID on this hitchhiker fast

ACK! I responded on a different computer (bigger screen), but didn't hit enter. It really looks like a pleurobranchus and more specifically a Berthellina sp. When you mentioned the feel of it, it was a hint. They secrete this mucous stuff. I actually forget what the stuff is, I'll have to look it up.

Usually I'm just typing on an iPad that has a keyboard and can't see things very well.

He's munching on whatever is on that rock. I noticed that rock earlier because it looks like it is/was full of awesome life. Are the barnacles still alive? You can tell the environment that rock was in originally was pretty "dirty" as it's heavy with filter feeders. Just gorgeous with it's barnacles, tunicates and sponges. If it's a Berthellina, he's cruising those critters, IMO.

Thanks for the reply but yea it still has a few barnacles still on it but about 60% of them died got it out of Tampa bay but since I messed with him he hasn't moved lol
