so I have been looking today and i found the MAG 9.5 that is 950gph for my return pump would that create enough return flow or would this pump be better? I am thinking of going to run 2 return pumpshttp://www.marinedepot.com/Fluval_Sea_SP4_Aquarium_Water_Pump_1822_GPH_Over_1000_Gallons_Per_Hour_Submersible_Aquarium_Pumps-Fluval-HG14337-FIWPSBTO-vi.html
I figured I would need 2 power-heads rated at 1400gph with possible wave-maker

I cant find anything about this wave maker any insight

How big is your tank? So here's the pros and cons of the mag drive. I have one. Same exact one. No problems. People say it can run hot but I haven't experienced that problem. I like it because it has a 5 year warranty and people have had them for years with success so they stand up to their name. Can be used internally and externally and even though they aren't the most quiet pumps they are very well built and highly recommended. I'm happy with it. But in the future I want to get a DC pump for controllability.

Now fluval I've only heard good reviews on them. Good company, high quality stuff, everyone loves their pumps and they have a 3 year warranty I belueve. Now what I suggest is if your gonna add a wave maker and your tank is under 100 gallons then just get the mag drive and buy a more suggested wave maker like the tunze, ecotech marine vortech, Maxspect gyre, or koralias, or even sicce.
