Need a little help searching for a canopy hinge

Hi I pretty much decided to go with a piano hinge, but I’m afraid of if the door goes falling shut . I’m wondering if there is some sort of soft closing hinge?

The door is not cut out yet and the aquarium canopy is made of 1” thick wood planks . It may break the glass for a 4’ 1x 8 falling closed

Ideally, you’d want gas struts to go with the hinges or you can use the gas struts solo.
