Need a little help with this one

Please look at this coral and help me figure out if I can save it. The base is ok. The part that’s encrusting the bottom rock seems ok. The only part that looks bad is the very top. See in image attached. Please help me save this coral

My thoughts are that you need to remove the dead part so that the death and what ever caused it doesn't spread.

If you've corrected the issues, i'd leave it be, it will come back and encrust over dead tissue. Maybe use a baster to keep algae from taking over the top.
