Thats why its sitting in Mason jar.Looks like a Chiton... good guy
I do have an urchin but its never on the rock work. Not likely. If you have urchins. It'll eventually, on accident be eaten as the urchin grazes on live rock.
Thats awesome.Weirdly enough, I found one today for the first time... always something new
ThanksVery good algae eaters and reef safe. Often confused with Limpets
It was in the middle of my gsp that sits on the sand bed.Little guy could also end up in the sand bed cleaning glass. The rocks don't have enough food. I'll have to snag a pic next time I see him.
I never seen the population boom.
No damage to the gsp or any other coral. Prob hiding till lights out.I don't believe they graze on coral. No damage done, right? He could have been on the move looking for food.
I hope so. They are coolWith things like that, you see the damage. So, he was looking for food. Hopefully you have a few. They are a fun critter to see around.
Thanks for the info. its a good thing I have a glass tank.i assume it's a chiton, could bite off acrylic surfaces
Since they eat coraline no wonder they can leave marks on acrylic.i assume it's a chiton, could bite off acrylic surfaces
