I may sell the one in the link I put in my reply above-Its a reverse becket and IMO/E will blow most needle wheels out of the sump-LOL
Skimmers are VERY opinionated pieces of equipment BEWARE of what some say-do your own research after getting opinons form people.
As an example the Aqua Remora series ( I feel the flames already) are CRAP in my opinion and in my experiance, but you read the reviews on Marine Depot and people rave about them-what the heck is that all about are those people on crack-I have owned and still have the point of sale Aqua remora C HOB w/ skimmer box (I wont even sell it becuase I would feel bad I took someones money and sold them junk-ok they are not that bad but not worthy of the reviews) and the Aqua EV-180.
The EV 180 preceeded the MTC I have now (that skimmer rocks, and I will probably keep it since resale is never good).
Anyway long reply to get to read LOTS of forums and PM folks that have them and ask for their "honest" opinion, would they buy it again....
That SWC 160 cone I have heard great things about, cones are typically gonna out perform the straight body ones (in general).
Rumor I heard was SWC dude worked for coralife, stole their idea and moved to Canada to avoid prosecution-LOL check out the coralife (new) cone skimmers, looks like the SWC or should I say SWC looks like coralife
Regardless, asking about a good skimmer is like the "T5's or MH" threads
