Hi! I’m new to reef2reef I’ve been reading forums for a while and decided I’d join! I currently have a 37 gallon cube that I converted from freshwater. This tank has been running for a little over 2 years. I have the basic necessities but I’m looking into moving up to a 75-120 gallon with a sump. Please feel free to leave suggestions on any affordable equipment I can find on the internet. Thanks! (yes I know I can find this info on another post)

If you are looking at something with a 4' footprint I would wholeheartedly recommend that you chose a 120. You get a much nicer, easier to 'scape system at very little extra cost. You can easily fit a 40 breeder under it for use as a sump with most stands.

+1 for @Billdogg I run that exact setup. Love it. You can create exactly what you need for your equipment for 1/3 to 1/2 price of pre built sump. Save money on things you can so you can buy better equipment. That's my philosophy.

Thanks to all that replied! I’ll be reading more forums about 120’s.
