I just bought a new light for my tank. It is supposed to be controlled through Wi-Fi with use of my phone – or iPad. It is also supposed to run through its own cycle of sunrise, the course of one day, and the sunset with some Moon cycles.
I have Wi-Fi connected – I can manually operate the light with my phone. I cannot seem to get it to go through a cycle on its own.
Here's my problem. When I am home every day I do not mind doing this. Now I am leaving on vacation and I still have not straighten out this problem. The person coming to maintain and feed my tank will not be able to pamper the tank as I do.
I have three fish, one shrimp, a cleanup crew – and an assortment of all types of corals. I'm afraid if I leave the light on 24 hours a day for two weeks I will have a major algae problem. But I do not know if the corals can survive with only the blue lights on?
I'm still going to try to straighten this out. I have a day and a half before we leave – but if you were me what would you do?

They are, but also for aquariums. I will find a link..... Please hold.[emoji12]

I don't know much about it, but I assume you are leaving the switch &/ or the app on manual mode. (This happens with my hydra 26hd).

Turn the switch to auto and set your app and leave it, shut the app off.

See if that works, by leaving the app on manual mode, the light may "think" that is what is programing currently.

If not, hopefully someone with this light will chime in.

Another route would be to set it manually and put it on a timer.
