Need a protein skimmer...info and help please.

So I have a 30g hex tall and iv got surface action created by my powerheads however Im starting to notice some light particle buildup surrounding the disturbance my heads make. im looking for something small and non invasive(basically hang on the back) iv got a small foot print to work with if I don't want to cut my top up (I may have to though). Do you guys have any suggestions? my budget is under $100 and I was looking at the Seaclone protein Skimmer. any help or info would be appreciated

Look into Red Octopus. See if they have a hang on that small. Might cost you a bit more but the Seaclone is just so-so IMHO.

Reef octopus does have a hang on for smaller tanks. I'm not sure the exact gallons recommended but you can check them out online.
