What would be a good Auto top off for a 45 gallon tank? I am adding about a half a gallon a day to compensate for evaporation and am a little tired of manually dumping water lol... thanks

Nigel

Tunze makes a good ATO set.
There are other options out there... just depends on how much you want to spend.
Just make sure it's reliable and has fail back protection.

I would do the Tunze. If it would have fit in my pico AIO that is the one I would have bought. I went with the JBJ nano ATO and has worked great for the two months I have had it going.

How about the Tunze nano ATO? It says on the item description that it can suit tanks up to 55 gallons. I am thinking this is the one to go with since Tunze is a reliable and efficient.

That's a can of worms... you'll find good and bad reviews for every unit out there, none of them are perfect. The Tunze is probably top of the list (the nano is not made to the same quality). I like the JBJ unit as well.

Put fail safes in place that aren't reliant on the ATO whichever you choose.
