I'm looking for a sump for my 225gallon tank. I would ideally like a 48"x20" sump with refugium. I'm running a bean animal overflow.
Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks
Joe

If you don't want to do diy I recommend contacting @geo here. Geo's Reef makes some of the best looking and functioning sumps. I highly recommend them.

Check out the IceCap sumps available from @premiumaquatics . specifically the 36XL and 48XL
I am working on an article about these sumps as there is very little info out there about them.
Great price point for what you get. Most, if not all, the bells and whistles of some of the more expensive brands. Good build quality for this price point.

I was wondering which design would work best. These are 2 typical sump designs. Is there a benefit to one over the other?
I like the one where the returns are in the corner only because less plumbing to get in the way. The one where they are all on the side seems more functional.
Any opinions?
Thanks
