you need a dremel with a diamond bit. Cut on the bottom then cut the flesh with sissors.

Another alternative that is becoming popular is using a diamond bandsaw. More precise cuts and faster healing time. You can also find them for $205 shipped on eBay but I am not sure if auction links are allowed so I will leave it up to you to search.

I use a dremel and a wet band saw for cutting. They both work great but of course the dremel is much cheaper. But, like everyone suggested, use a diamond wheel.

I heard fragging them is difficult since after you frag you tend to grow away from the cut. Is this true?

In my experience of cutting them... At first the flesh will pull away from the cut. But, give it a week or so and if the frag is healthy the flesh will start to grow over the cut and then start encrusting.

hmm i haqve a dremel and i have diamond bits, so i cut threw the bottum untill i get to the flesh, once i hit the flesh i use siccors? if this is correct please LMK

sounds about right. i normally just cut all the way through with the dremel though. i think the heat helps to cauterize the tissue or something.
