Need advice for equipment

I'm starting a 40 gallon (breeder) saltwater reef aquarium with a 20 gallon long sump. I am just looking for some advice on the equipment I should get for it. More specifically the skimmer and overflow box, etc. I'm trying to keep the price as low as possible. Thanks!

Many good HOB overflow boxes available online, might even be able to find one In the marketplace here. For pump, lots of options. Let your flow rate of the overflow box and a 10x turn over rate be your guide.

Overflow box? Are you having the tank drilled or you using a HOB type of overflow.

The same goes for skimmers, they come in many different setups. You could use a HOB skimmer.
