Hey reefers, so ive got this 4 bulb wave point t5 HO light and ive taken it out of the case it was in as you can see and i built this fixture for my kessil ap700 but i wanted to somehow incorporate this t5 fixture around it or something....just wanted to get suggestions.....i can take the individual ballast out and battery things off on the back of the t5 and mount that way but than no reflectors.....so lets hear it!!!

Cut the reflector to fit. You can extend the wires for the ballasts. (use the correct gauge and remeber to run grounds to the reflectors).

If you don’t know electric you wil need to seek assistance. That can kill you.

Rather than disassemble a working light, can't you hang both over the tank?

Well i dont have anything to cut them individually and it would be simple to do electrically so no worries of death but i only need two of the four bulbs space but just kind of a hard fit.....cant cut the fixture so not sure on how to place them both where no light is going to be blocked

I would look at the retro fit kits and how they are assembled.

You may even be able to buy two retro fit reflectors.

I’d just use a jig saw to cut it myself.

Well my budget is pretty much $0... So i gotta work with what ive got....i managed to cut two small pieces of wood that i was going to screw in on each side than try and mount on ballast on each side of the kessil......but dont have a jigsaw or anything to cut it with lol....im wondering if it will break off if i bend them back and forth individually
