Need advice. Leak, help on salt

I had a tank leak, lost 90 percent of the water. I just ran out of salt at my last water change. So currently don't have any. I didn't want to let my rocks dry out. Should I just soak them in water? Leave them sitting dry tonight, Can I add tablesalt? I can't get salt as husband is at work.

With the remaining saltwater, use newspaper/rags/towels/whatever, to drench them and then cover the rock. Do not use tap / fresh water. Do not use table salt.
