Hey there. I have a standard 120gallon tank and i am finnally getting a pair of Arctic t247 and i was wondering how i can connect/mount them together in the middle. That way the legs are still in use but maybe a bracket.
I found a picture where someone connected 4 but they connected them the vertically oriented instead of horizontal. I was wondering if i can do the same but then the bracket might block part of a fan..

any thoughts or solutions?

see this way the legs arent usable because they could come out the front and back of the lights/tank.

I recently built a LED T5 hybrid canopy. I used the the 90 degree metal rails with holes already pre punched. It covers the fans a little but with the holes I have not noticed any extra heat from the T247. Not the best pic but it looks like this.

Here is mine.

Ignore the extra wires as those are for my T5HO add ons.

I purchase aluminum U channel and drilled a big enough home for the bolts that are used for the hanging kit to fit through. If you are using the legs, you can still use the hanging kit attachments to hold the u-channel in place just as I did without utilizing the hanging wire.

Yep. Home depot. I want to say it wad in the same aisle as the steel cable. Its available in different lengths. I use some nuts and attached it using the screws that are on top of the lights.
