I've got a 40 breeder pushing 40x total tank volume in flow per hour, I've read this could be where I need to be on flow or maybe too high?

I know it's subjective because of where the powerheads are aimed but maybe this can help me get a better ballpark. Seems my acan is a bit shriveled up in the shade, I have not seen it's feeders or my favias

I'm getting 350 gph from my return nozzle aimed across the surface towards the front middle, from the top back right.

I'm getting 750 gph aimed from the back right corner going the length of the tank behind rocks using a maximet 600,
Lastly I'm using a brand new tunze 6040 placed on the left side of tank about 2/3rd up from the sand, blowing left to right in front of all my rockwork. I have this one at roughly ,50%. By my math I'm at 40x flow

Whenever I dose the ab+ from red sea i see flow going everywhere and not really targeted in one spot.

Any advice?

For flow, it’s very tricky. LPS do enjoy good flow but not too much. You can usually tell because it looks like their flesh it’s being ripped off. Every tank is different so it’s more of a matter of getting the flow to where the LPS looks happy and you have good surface agitation.

Flow needs depend on what type of LPS it is
I've got acans at point 12 in the picture, favias at points 9,10,11, and I'd like to have euphyliia at top of rockwork eventually, I also have zoas at points 6 and 7

That is probably enough. Make sure that it is somewhat random and you can even point the tunze different ways every week or two.
