Im looking for suggestions about what the best reasonably priced in sump protein skimmer would be for a 300 gallon Fowler, I will be using a 125 gallon tank for my sump

Thanks for that, now will I need a skimmer rated for 400 gallons because that will be the total water volume including the sump?

I dont count sump volume but you can sure go larger with the same units

Is there a way to go too large? I was looking at one rated for 450 gallon light bio load 750 heavy
