Hello everyone, this is my second post and you have all been very very helpful with my "Beginner" post. I have a 65 gallon tank with a Fluval canister filter 406, and a CLASSIC 100 HANG-ON-BACK PROTEIN SKIMMER!! And now I need some advice on live rock and sand that you all use and prefer and how you all go about setting up and keeping the rocks in a certain build! Any advice would be great. Sand is a personal preference and also utilitarian depending on you livestock. Arag alive pink Fiji is popular. oolite is a popular choice also. It depends on if you are keeping bleenies or Gobies . Anything that burrows. BRS has charts/recommendations on amount needed.
Rock is also personal preference. There are threads on different rocks like live, dead, man made. There is also aqua scape threads you can look at to get ideas.
So many choices, the mind boggles. I would go thru aqua scape posts and steal ideas or modify some u like.
