Ok, so heres the situation. I live on a second floor apartment. Its a relatively newer home. I picked up a new Red Sea Reefer nano for my living room. The only stipulation by my wife was she got to choose the location. She picked the spot and i put the tank together. Once it was up it was slightly off level so i grabbed composite shims from HD. The reefer stand has 8 little plastic feet on the bottom of the stand (two on each side). I wound up adding shims to the two feet on the right side and as a result it lifted the next set of feet to the left. So i added shims to those feet as well (just to the point of providing support under those feet). At this point the tank is almost perfectly level in every direction and all 8 feet are touching either the ground or a shim. I began filling with rodi water over the course of a day or two. The tank has been sitting for almost 2 weeks full of water now and no leaks. The issue that im experiencing is when i walk by the tank i see the water move, think Jurassic Park. Now the tank is still just as level as the day i filled it so the ground has not shifted or anything like that. I cant see the tank moving, shaking, or anything like that. Its just like the vibration is transfered through my hardwood, up through the stand, and into the water. It does not splash or anything like that, infact when the return pump is on you cant tell at all. Am i just being paranoid? I figure as long as im not doing jumping jacks in my living room i have nothing to worry about as long as it stays level right? I can make a quick video later showing all this. I just want to be sure before i add my salt!

As long as you have it level... and it's staying that way... thou should be fine. Is a nano tank, so the weight factor shouldn't be an issue and fine for a second floor apartment. Just make sure its in a place where it won't get bumped... that could add to stress on the joints.

But, i'd proceed.

If me , if possible, add as large piece of plywood under tank stand, 4x4? Throw a throw rug on top of ply, to hide. And have a drip pan in case future leak with alarm sensor? Just me.

Thanks guys. Maybe for the heck of it ill make a quick video tonight so you can visualize the whole thing!
