I didn’t QT identified ich and removed all 5 of my fish and lost two. I finished a two week copper treatment and no signs of ich. Fish have been in hospital tank for about 65 days now. I want to run a week or maybe two of prazi before introducing them back to the DT. But one of the fish has some tail rot. I’ve ran Metroplex multiple times and it’s cleared up but never fully went away. I’m growing extremely tired of running the hospital tank. My question is can I run prazi while the fish is going through a bacterial infection or should I treat for the bacterial infection and get that cleared up first? Can I run prazi and then not treat for the bacterial infection and just add them back to the display tank and hope that the fish will fight it off? The water conditions in the hospital are not great in the hospital tank. The water demand of running both tanks is overwhelming. I’ve came so far in this miserable journey that I don’t want to make a mistake now..... but I’m getting really impatient in getting the fish back in the display tank. I need advice and maybe some encouragement.
Sorry for the lack of through history here guys. It’s a lot to type out on my phone. I can answer any questions. I had another thread going on a different forum but they were not very helpful and rude at times. Any advice to help me through this is greatly appreciated.

Running Prazi at the same time as antibiotics can create a bacterial bloom (cloudy water) and reduces oxygen supply in the water. Better to run the antibiotics first until done. Remember the meds don't kill the disease, they just help to give the fish's own immune system time to fight the disease. Most antibiotics take 10-14 days treatment for saltwater fish to show improvement.
Water changes and charcoal to remove the meds. Then you can run the Prazi 2 doses 5-7 days apart for prophylactic treatment.
Been in a similar situation, except I was fighting velvet and bacterial infection. Had a DT and 2 Qt/hospital tanks all going at once. Tons of work. None of the fish survived. Arghhh.

Ordering now. Can I run Kana and Furan run at the same time?

Yes - Kanaplex, Metroplex and Furan-2 are all safe to use together.

In fact, we call it the “Trifecta” or “triple threat” around here!
