So I have a goniopora and on the side of the skeleton it started growing this white sponge with a pulp at the end, does anybody know what it is? Also should I be worried??

Looks like a gigantic pineapple sponge. They are good filter feeders, but usually show up in numbers, like in a sump, and then self limit.

Are they harmful to the coral? Should I Manuelly remove them? Thanks alot mets17127

Pineapple sponges are usually pretty harmless. Unless the coral is remaining closed all the time, I'd leave it be.

Its was closed for like two days and just opened back up yesterday, I think my little clown might be bothering it as well , thanks alot for the good info guys, I'll keep you posted

Won't hurt the goni. Once you have a ton of them in your sump and overflow, they become no cost filtration for the entire system.
Awesome information, thanks alot bro , great to know , now I'm not that nervous
